We understand that tuition can be a financial burden to families and St. Monica Catholic School believes that a Catholic School education should be affordable for all families. We offer a variety of Tuition Assistance and Scholarship programs to assist families:
St. Monica Tuition Assistance
St. Monica Tuition Assistance is available for families that are parishioners of St. Monica Catholic School with students in grades K-8.
St. Monica Catholic School Endowment Trust Scholarships

Other Scholarships and Assistance
St. Monica Catholic School has partnered with ACE Scholarships to provide scholarships to families seeking admissions for the 2019-2020 school year. ACE scholarships are completely need based and, once approved, a student’s scholarship can be renewed each year through 12th grade at any private school. To be eligible for an ACE scholarship, families must qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program (rates will be available soon). For more information, please contact Sally Wengierski.
St. Monica Catholic Church Scholarships
St. Monica Women’s Ministry of St. Monica Catholic Church awards two (2) scholarships to current students as well as newly admitted students entering grades 7 or 8 at St. Monica Cathlic School. Each scholsrship is a one-time award of $500 and awards are based on Academic Performance and involvement in school and community activities.

The Kinghts of Columbus St. Monica Council 5656 has established a scholarship program to promote Catholic identity and community service in line with the Knights of Columbus’ principles of Faith, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The Council awards $500 scholarships to current students entering grades 5 through 8 at St. Monica Catholic School based on academic achievement, community service, and activity in the St. Monica Catholic Church Parish.

Diocesan Halo Initiative
The Diocese of Dallas Halo Initiative provides tuition assistance to parents who desire to educate their children in a Catholic elementary and/or secondary school in the Diocese of Dallas. The funds are limited and are only available to families with a demonstrated financial need. All families that apply for St. Monica Tuition Assistance are automatically considered for the Halo Initiative. Students enrolled at St. Monica for the 18-19 school year should apply starting November 1, 2018, and complete applications by January 5, 2019, to be considered for Halo awards. Students applying to St. Monica for admission in 19-20 can apply beginning January 6, 2019, and complete applications by April 1, 2019. Click here for more information
Emergency Tuition Assistance
Emergency tuition assistance is available during the school year only to currently enrolled school families, on a limited basis, for those who demonstrate temporary need caused by death, major illness, or job loss. Please contact the school office for an application.
