January 2025 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is truly fortunate to have a teacher like Mr. Rodriguez. His passion for teaching inspires a love of learning in his students. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are deeply valued for their dedication and commitment to the well-being and growth of each student, even in challenging times.
 
Mr. Rodriguez had not only many parents nominate him, but an unprecedented amount of student nominations. One of his nominators wrote, “Mr. Rodriguez has the patience of Job, and goes above and beyond to make sure each student feels confident in their Faith. He demonstrates what it means to be kind, strong, and a great mentor. He is wonderful to these kids and deserves this achievement”.  Another nominator wrote “Mr. Rodriguez is always supportive of our students. He has a big heart that is focused on their success. He presents them with opportunities instead of obstacles.”  Among the many student nominations one student wrote, “Mr. Rodriguez teaches in a way like no other teacher teaches.   He makes religion fun and interesting, and I feel closer to God because of him.” Another student wrote, “Every day when I come to school, I am excited for his class. He makes learning enjoyable and effective. He really cares about the learning of his students and makes it fun and meaningful.” There was an overwhelming number of other students who wrote, that Mr. Rodriguez is a kind, nice, amazing teacher, energetic, positive, and a great role model.
