December 2023 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is honored to have a teacher with the qualities of Mrs. Scrudder. Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are viewed as truly loving their students, seeking their highest good even when at times the way may be hard.

As one of her nominators wrote: “Tracy embodies all the Categories of Excellence. She is an outstanding individual who cares about her students and is always willing to support and help out where needed. She always has a smile on her face, and I love seeing her when I come up to St. Monica because of her warm, caring, inclusive persona. She deserves to be awarded Teacher of the Month!!”. Another nominator praised her saying “Mrs. Scrudder has created an environment in her classroom that fosters open dialogue, integrity, mutual respect, and faithfulness. She has also
encouraged students to problem-solve independently. Thank you, Mrs. Scrudder, for such a wonderful first half of the year!!”
