Books clubs provide an enjoyable and easy way for your child to develop literacy skills, learn new vocabulary words, and gain exposure to new ideas and concepts. Through discussion, children develop a deeper understanding of books, consider others’ perspectives, and practice analyzing, making predictions, and solving problems. Book Club held its inaugural Book Bowl in May where members in grades 2-5 who read all six books played in a competition to answer questions about them. This year’s Book Bowl champions are Ariel G.(2nd grade), Jordan A. (3rd grade), Reagan S. (4th grade), Emma G. (5th grade). Congratulations!
