8th grade is a special year at St. Monica. It is a year filled with many traditions and special memories that will stay with these 8th graders and their parents for a lifetime. The mother/daughter tea is a tradition most of these 8th girls and their mothers have been celebrating since Kindergarten. In keeping with tradition this year’s 8th grade mother/daughter tea had a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” theme. They started the morning off with Mass at St. Monica and then they were treated to a fabulous brunch with a fantastic video documenting each girl’s time at St. Monica. Dr. Kelly Jameson came to speak to the group about the unique bond shared by mothers and daughters. Thank to all those involved in pulling off this special event.
