Kindergarten - 5th Grade Admission Criteria

Students are admitted to St. Monica School based upon the following criteria:

• Complete application with required documentation
• Screening/Placement Test
• Principal Recommendation
• Teacher Recommendation
• Student Records
• Kindergarten candidates must be 5 years old by September 1
• 1st Grade candidates must be 6 years old by September 1

After academic eligibility is confirmed and all information is received, admission of new students to St. Monica Catholic School is determined by the Admissions Committee. Prospective students shall receive priority in the admission process using the following guidelines:

• Sibling of current St. Monica student
• St. Monica Parishioner
• Baptized Catholic, Non-Parishioner
• Non-Catholic
• Date of Application Completion

* Waiting list – Applicants placed on the waiting list will be admitted based on availability and the criteria listed above.
