March 2025 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is truly fortunate to have a teacher like Mrs. Settimi. Her passion for teaching inspires a love of learning in her students. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are deeply valued for their dedication and commitment to the well-being and growth of each student, even in challenging times.
 
As one of her nominators wrote, “Mrs. Settimi is new this year and already making a huge impact in students’ lives. First and foremost, my daughter absolutely loves going to school. Mrs. Settimi makes class so fun and is great about bringing about each child’s specific gifts. She finds a perfect balance between fostering an entertaining environment while also being disciplined with the kids to ensure structure and obedience. We are so lucky to have her!!!”   Another parent wrote, “Mrs. Settimi is the most caring, wonderful teacher. Her nurturing love for her students is amazing. She goes above and beyond to ensure my son succeeds in every aspect of his day. She learns who her students are as individuals and recognizes their differences, and teaches them to embrace these differences as gifts from God. We have loved loved loved having her this year!! She is a wonderful educator.  We are so blessed to have Mrs. Settimi as a teacher this year.” Throughout the nominators’ posts, a resounding sentiment was heard: Mrs. Settimi is a kind, caring, respectful, and smart teacher.
