Get ready for an exciting week of reading, fun, and learning. This week-long camp is designed to help students dive into their summer reading while enjoying engaging activities and connecting with friends. Campers will explore Esperanza Rising, our required summer novel, through discussions, projects, and creative expression. Students will also choose an additional book from the provided reading list and begin working on their "Book Talk" planning sheet, which they'll use to prepare a presentation when school starts in August.
We will also track our summer reading to prepare the students to excel at the Summer Reading Challenge: Campers will log their reading in Beanstack so they can be entered into the Library’s Back to School prize drawing!
This camp is the perfect way to stay on track with summer reading goals while having fun and building excitement for 4th grade!
